Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As you all know between 12 and 20 June I cycled from John O'Groats to Lands End with the intention of rasing money for Paralympics GB. I was in the company of James (Crackers) Cracknell, Rebecca Romero, Jody Cundy and about 500 others. When we arrived in JOG it was blowing a gale and our tents were flattened - literally. At 5 am  the next day at breakfast the wind was now joined by driving rain. Fortunately the weather did improve and rest of the trip was fairly sunny. The first 10 miles were fine and I felt as if I could keep going for at least another 10 without any pain. I won't bore you with all the medical details but suffice to say the vaseline, sudocream and canestan all came in very useful. We cycled through some of the most scenic parts of the country loch Lomond, Loch Ness, the Lake District, Forset of Dean, Cheddar Gorge and Cornwall but as we were only in Wales for about 20 minutes we obviously missed the best. i can now (2 days after completion) at least sit down without too much discomfort in front of the computer to create this website,  although my bike hasn't yet come out of its bag. I would appreciate any amount you can give to make the trip even more worthwhile.
