One child dies every 20 seconds from diarrhoea caused by unclean water & sanitation which is unthinkable especially when you have children of your own (my latest Tallulah at 8 weeks attached in Photo). We are all in such a priviledged position and can make a difference.
I'm a trustee of the The Body Shop Foundations and one of the funding remits this year is access to water and I can think of no better way of highlighting the plight of those without access than by literally walking in their footsteps to raise awareness and fundraise on this basic human right.
I’ve joined a group trekking across the Sahara Desert in intense heat and arid conditions to raise money to ensure communities have access to clean water for the first time.
