<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p> <p>During a few beers at a football match earlier this season I agreed, some say foolishly, to joining some friends on a bike journey from the West coast of our green and pleasant land to the East or to be more acurate from The Irish Sea at Liverpool across to The North Sea at Scarborough, a distance of 200 miles spread over 3 days in May and taking in some of the strange lands of the North, such as&nbsp;Burnley and Leeds&nbsp;&nbsp;!!!</p> <p>I am using the opportunity to hopefully raise a few quid for the Renal Unit of Queen Alexandra Hospital in Portsmouth as a good friend of mine, David Penny, is having ongoing treatment there.</p> <p>I must also add that I'm not only the oldest and least fit of the group&nbsp;I am also the only Southerner so need all the support I can get to get me through all the talk of whippets and flat caps !!!!!!!!!!!</p>
