In 2010 I had emergency surgey with a collapsed large intestine. This was removed in its entirety. After surgery I was left with a stoma and a colostomy bag.This was not easy as I thought my world had collapsed, however with the help of family, great freinds and colleagues I got through. I had 2 further operations and it has been 6 months since my reversal. I am now hopefully on the way to making a full recovery and wish to donate to the colostomy association to help others who are experiencing the same as myself.
