Story

Having missed the opportunity to take on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge along with a number of my colleagues from Michael Page, supporting our charity partner Macmillan Cancer Support, I'm back in training to try and fix my stubborn, broken knees and make sure my initial fundraising doesn't go wasted. I''m aiming to be ready to walk as soon as possible but will keep you posted with the date as soon as I know I'm up to it!

This was Michael Page’s fourth annual trip to Yorkshire, enduring the 25 mile hike across the three tallest peaks in the Yorkshire Dales within 12 hours. 90 people took part and so far a total of £38,000 has been raised - please help me increase this total!

Having taken on the challenge for the past 2 years I'll be stepping up the pace this year and my intention is to finish the challenge in less than 7 hours, which would put me in the top 5% of walkers.

The money raised from this event will go towards our two year goal of funding four Macmillan Cancer Nurse Specialists, supporting and treating hundreds more cancer patients and their families across the UK.

Together we will make a difference.

I must raise a minimum of £300. At least 80% of this money will benefit Macmillan Cancer Support, the balance being spent on the costs of the challenge. 100% of any sum raised over £300 will benefit Macmillan Cancer Support.
