Parmiter's Three Peaks Challenge · 29 April 2008

The Parmiter's School Parents' Association is a registered charity that exists to help provide Parmiter's School with additional funds to support the financing of projects, large or small, that cannot be funded from the school's budget.

Story

On the weekend of 27th-29th June 2008 Old Parmiterian Paul and current pupil Briony climbed the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales (Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon) in just under 48 hours.

Despite heavy mist on all three mountains, heavy rain and winds on Snowdon and getting lost for half an hour in the mist on Scafell Pike we managed to complete the challenge.  Despite the poor weather we enjoyed ourselves so much that Dad & Daughter didn't argue at all.

The money raised will benefit The Teenage Cancer Trust and The Parmiter's School Parents' Association
