At the end of May Paul was seriously injured in a road accident and was cared for at the scene and evacuated to  hospital by the Wiltshire Air Ambulance.  We were surprised to learn that the Air Ambulance is not funded by government and thus the Air Ambulance relies heavily on charitable donations to continue to do its excellent work.

As a veteran of Land's End to John O'Groats, several Etapes du Tour,  Alpine Raid and a Madman of Ventoux a 45 mile cycle ride around the Wiltshire Lanes would not normally represent too much of a challenge ! However since my accident I have wondered at times if I would ever ride my bike again. Happily I am although slower than before !
