As you may have heard (but not from us... we barely mention it) - we are doing a Tri-Affer-Lon!!!

yes I know.... stop laughing ... US.... a Triathlon! (well a sprint one ... but a triathlon none the less.)

For the 0.8% of the population we have not told about it ... it's a :

750m Swim (in the channel)

20km Bike Ride

5km Run

 

We are putting ourselves through this (5 months of solid training) for a really good cause - Stop the Traffik - a charity Helene works closely with.

STOP THE TRAFFIK is a global movement working to combat the fastest growing global crime, people trafficking.

We know that you get a lot of these sponsorship requests ... but seriously ... if you were to choose the least likely people you know, to being doing a triathlon, we think we would be very near the top!!

Next stop 2012!!! now where did we put that gold polish?
