STOP PRESS: 2012 walk photos HERE! :D

Hello friends :)  You may remember me telling you last year that I was going to walk 20 miles to raise money for a hospice in Wiltshire via the amazing Love Hope Strength Foundation.  You may have laughed.  I don't mind - I was a bit hysterical myself ;) 

But I made it.  And it was one of the best days ever.  There were a lot of songs, love, laughs and tears on that trail.  See my photos here.  And in the end we raised over £30,000 for the Prospect Hospice.

Well, we're doing it all over again in 2012.  I'll be joining Nick Harper, Mike Peters of the Alarm (a cancer survivor himself), the Levellers, further Love Hope Strength musicians and other trekkers on a 20 mile charity trek through Wiltshire on Saturday 7 July 2012, starting and finishing at Avebury, one of the finest and largest Neolithic monuments in Europe.  The event will be raising funds for both the Prospect Hospice and the Children's Cancer And Leukemia Movement (CALM), as well as raising awareness for Love Hope Strength and the work they do for cancer treatment worldwide. 

Please donate to my walk if you can - I would really appreciate your help.  Since I last wrote about this on my 2011 sponsor page, cancer has continued to affect my life and those of the people I love... way too many lives around the world, really.

I won't stop fighting for all of them, and I'll keep walking.
