<p>&nbsp;</p> <p>On Sunday 22nd January I'm joining women from Rotherham and Linda McAvan MEP in a sponsored 3 mile walk at Wortley Hall.</p> <p>Every year for International Women's Day Linda McAvan works with the women of Yorkshire and the Humber to raise funds to support women in developing countries. So far they've raised a phenomenal &pound;32,000!</p> <p>In 2012 the charity that is being supported is Practical Action. They work in the Sudan to build relationships with local communities and government agencies to help people develop secure and sustainable futures.</p> <p>Practical Action want to raise enough money to provide 40 women's co-operative farms and I am helping them to do this! The farms are run on a co-operative basis led by Sudanese women and they provide an opportunity to give them sustainable futures by working together.</p> <p>It costs just &pound;300 to establish one farm!
