I really hope you will want to support the work of this Trust, which is striving to help people who stammer and have associated difficulties in communication.  It was set up in memory of Dominic Barker, a highly intelligent and able young man for whom the burden of coping with a stammer was too much, and who took his own life as a result.

I think so many of us take for granted our ease of communication.  I certainly do.  And perhaps stammering is not seen as the fundamental problem it is, because it is not so dramatic or apparently urgent as a need.  Yet what could be more fundamental than our ability to talk to our fellow human beings ?
