Flora London Marathon 2008 · 13 April 2008 ·

Compelled by Christ’s love, we help people in the world’s poorest places to lift themselves out of poverty, work together to protect our common home, and help people recover from disaster.

Story

A BIG thank you for visiting my fundraising page! (And a special thank you to my regular sponsors!)

Yes... I'm at it again! Still smarting from just being pipped to the world record at Berlin in September 2007 (by a mere one hour and 42 minutes), I've decided to have another go. I was very fortunate to secure a ballot place in the Flora London Marathon 2008. So, I decided that while I got down to some serious training, I would allow you the opportunity to help others far less fortunate than us. SCIAF supports poor people overseas regardless of religion; it responds to humanitarian disasters throughout the world; and campaigns for a just world.

Please dig deep and sponsor me online. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Scottish Catholic International Aid Fund (SCIAF) will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. (Alternatively, you can send a cheque direct to me).So please sponsor me now!

Many, many thanks for your support.

Paul
