My story
Hi, thanks for visiting my fund raising page.
As I'm sure you are aware cancer is a devastating illness.
Myself and my good friend Terry Lyons need to raise a minimum of £3750 for Marie Curie Cancer Care to qualify for the Kilimanjaro trek so we need all the help we can get!

If we can make the magic number then we'll be tackling the highest freestanding mountain as well as the 4th most prominent mountain in the world, rising 5,882 metres or 19,298 ft from the base. Blimey, I'd better get in shape!!!
The trek takes place between June 9-18 2011.

It runs nine Marie Curie Hospices across the UK offering free specialist care for patients and support for families. The charity conducts palliative care research to find better ways of caring for terminally ill people and also funds scientists who investigate the causes and treatments of cancer.
