Hi,

Welcome to my  3 Peaks Adventure Race and London Marathon fundraising page.

The 3 Peaks Adventure race is for teams of sailors and runners and is held annually on and around the most beautiful parts of the West Coast of Scotland.
The Race starts in Oban with a short hill run, we then sail to Salen on Mull, run over Ben More, sail to Craighouse on Jura, run the Paps, sail to Arran, run Goat Fell, then sail to Troon. Total sailing distance: 159 nms. Total running mileage: 62 miles.

Added 20th May: We completed the challenge in under 71 hours. Take a look at our blog at http://fb5.blogspot.com/

While on a sailing weekend in 2007 i stupidly suggested this challenge to a group of friends. Little did i know they would take me seriously so what started as a pub idea has turned into a reality- we have booked the boat and are now talking strategies, oh and of course a serious amount of training.

With a full understanding of the challenge we are about to undertake it would be good to make all the effort worthwhile by raising as much money as possible.

I have chosen to do this event from the 16th to the 18th of May and also the London Marathon on the 13th April in aid of Leukaemia Research. My late cousin William was unfortunately stricken with this terrible disease.

So please dig deep and donate as much as you are comfortable with. I can assure you all the money raised is going to a good place.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Leukaemia Research will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.

Added 14th April: Ran the marathon yesterday and completed the 26.2 mile course in a time of 3 hours 36 minutes and 2 seconds.
