London to Paris Cycle Ride · 22 October 2007

Proudly serving the community of East Berkshire and South Buckinghamshire since 1987, we provide specialist palliative & end-of-life care to people facing a terminal illness. We're committed to giving families choices about the care they receive, providing the best support at home & at the Hospice.

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

In March this year my daughter Sally Atkinson (nee Cousins) passed away after losing her battle against ovarian cancer. Sally was 31 years old . She spent her last days at the Hospice, they took such good care of her we just want to try and say thank you to them.

The ride is from Greenwich in London to the Eiffel Tower in Paris totalling 280 Miles (450km) over 4 days, averaging 70 miles (113km) a day.....on a push bike!

My son John, daughter-in-law Sonia, and my son-in-law Sally's husband Richard are also doing the ride.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Thames Hospicecare will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
