The great wall of China stretches for more than 4,000 miles accross undulating terrain in the shadows of towering mountain ranges.

At nearer 50 than I ever thought possible, I think this would have challenged me years ago and yet I choose to do this for such a worthy cause. 

I am testing my endurance to the max by walking 80km of steep hills and steps over 5 days to raise money for people with muscle disease.

Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy affects my son Ryan, who is now 13. He was diagnosed when he was 4 and my wife Lisa was pregnant with Jack., who thankfully,  is unaffected.
