Story
Many thanks, Mission accomplished - well the run anyway. 22 kilometres in 2 hours 10 minutes
I have also returned to England having seen even more community based projects that need a small amount of financial support to make an immense difference to the quality of life for all who share Africa, people and animals. The best news is that many communities are now self funding and as the word spreads more communities want to start projects that embrace conservation and derives benefit in employment, security, education and health as a direct result. Needless to say the animals are pretty chuffed to.
So if you have not yet sponsored me, please do so
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.
The world is full of worthy causes and Africa faces many challenges. However it's wildlife are vital to it's people and they need constant protection to stop certain species becoming extinct.
I will try and run 13 miles at 6000 feet across a game reserve because having seen it's work at first hand, I really believe in what Tusk do. Not only do they want to protect endangered species, they want to engage and educate communities to take an active role in the protection of wildlife for the long-term benefit to all.
Please see their website www.tusk.org
I will pay for my own travel and accomodation so 100% of your donation will go directly to Tusk. So please back me in this ambitious (for me) adventure and raise money for Tusk. Thank you for your support
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Tusk Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor me now!
Many thanks for your support.
