I am trekking on the Great Wall of China with Michael and Nichola Vaughan and others to raise money for the Children's Hospital Charity. A wonderful cause that I have had the privilege to Chair for the last 15 years.

The aim of the trek is to raise (collectively) the sum of £250,000 for a state of the art Integrated Intra-Operative Surgical Navigation System. This greatly enhances the accuracy of surgical procedures during Brain Spinal Cord and Ear/Nose/and Throat operations, accurately highlighting the damaged or affected areas and keeping the intrusion to the absolute minimum for the poorly child. This makes the operation safer and recovery times much quicker.

I am paying all of the cost of my the trip myself, so all donations made to my page will go towards this urgently required equipment.
