Fire Fighters Charity provides care and support to the UK’s fire family. It helps with any health and wellbeing challenges firefighters, control staff, and everyone working in – or retired from – the UK’s fire services, as well as their families, may face - during and after service

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

Beds and Luton Chief Fire Officer Paul Fuller is swapping his fire engines for pedal power to help raise money for the Firefighters Charity.

CFO Fuller is joining other fire chiefs from across the country in a 35 mile bike ride on August 26th up inLancashire.

The Firefighters Charity, formerly the Benevolent Fund, looks after firefighters and their families in times of trouble. All monies are raised by firefighters through events such as car washes on stations. In Bedfordshire and Luton Fire and Rescue Service Chief Fuller joins these events regularly by taking up a cloth and bucket.

Now with other chiefs he is leading from the front on the cycle run:

“I have been in training on the roads around Bedfordshire although we don’t have as many hills as they do up North,” said CFO Fuller.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Fire Fighters Charity gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!

Thanks Paul
