The Royal Air Forces Association (RAFA) is the national charity designated to helping serving and ex serving RAF personnel and their dependants who find themselves in need. This includes veterans from WW2 to those currently serving in Iraq. RAFA is a membership organisation that offers comradeship and welfare to its members and the wider RAF community.

My story

Thank You for visiting Goody's Fund Raising Page. I ran the BUPA Great Capital Run on Sunday 20th July 2008. The event was a 10k run around London's Hyde Park. My aim is to raise money in memory of members of the Royal Air Force who have lost their lives overseas on operations. I have therefore chose to raise money for the Royal Air Force Association. The chosen charity helps both serving and ex-serving Air Force personnel and their dependants. I am still collecting sponsorship for this event, so its still not to late to make a donation.
