Retail Trust is the national charity for retail people. It offers help and support to people working in, or retired from, the retail industry. Services include a confidential Helpline (0845 766 0113), access to free counselling and legal advice, financial assistance and retirement accommodation in London, Derby, Glasgow and Liverpool.

My personal message:

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

I have worked in retail since I was sixteen - I am now fifty. I am raising funds for the retail trust to help the industry and people who have been so good to me. This is my chance to give something back.

It is also chance for me to get fit again. I last ran a marathon in 1991 so it will be a challenge - I am targeting to complete it in three hours. Knowing I am raising money  for a good cause helps get me out training in the cold, dark evenings.   

Donations of any size, great or small, are welcome. However I am asking individuals to sponsor me for £7.82 which, if you are a UK tax payer,  will be rounded up to ten pounds. If you or your company wish to sponsor me for more, then both I and the charity will be very grateful.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Retail Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
