SWIM FOR A DAY · 1 September 2012

Hearing Dogs for Deaf People trains dogs to alert deaf people to important and life-saving sounds such as the smoke alarm, alarm clock, intruder alarms and baby monitors. These amazing dogs also help deaf people to leave loneliness behind by providing love, companionship and emotional support.

Story

We are a group of open water swimmers aiming to swim for 24 hours to raise money for charity. It will be a full moon which will add to the adventure that we are undertaking, come and support us by the lake, support us by donating and please spead the word, lets raise as much as we can, open water swimming is harder than pool swimming, the temperature, currents, times of day, weather etc can make a huge difference BUT we will do it so dig deep and help us raise as much as we can!! Thank you
