As most of you are aware I've been struggling with bowel cancer for just over 2 years now, in May 2008 I was told I had months not years to live and that my cancer was most definately terminal!!
Well here we are almost a whole year later and have to say feel extemely well and have been enjoying life sharing lots of different adventures with friends and family, mainly my two handsome sons, and boy we're all ready for another adventure!
So just the other day I was at Forest Holme, this is where I go for palliative care appointments to check on my progress or lack of it, so far so good, I'm hoping that it wont come to needing their services, however should I end up here I have no doubt that I will be looked after very very well, everybody is extremely kind and helpful. Any way whilst waiting I was reading there news letter and found out they hold sponsered sky dives, well this is on my list of things to do and what better way to do it than to raise some money for the people that are probably going to help at the end of my days, so I'm hoping all you lovely people that I know and love so much (and the not so well, there's always time!!lol) will dig deep into your pockets and search deep in your hearts and sponser me and my lovely boy's, yes we're all doing it together along with a collection of my dearest friends, you know who you all are....woo woo hoo cant wait, its gonna be sooooo excitning.
