Welcome to the inaugural (and last!) 3 Peaks Challenge, kindly sponsored by TLS Vehicle Rentals, a nationwide car and van rental company who have provided a free

3 PEAKS CHALLENGE - YEP IT IS FINALLY HAPPENING on Friday/Sat 12th & 13th Sept!!
.....and with a right old motley crew 
Team GB consists of:
Paul Harris, Steve Hillier, Andy Le May, Alan Blanchflower and Paul Kent.
A combined age of over 200 (mainly thanks to Steve) and a similar combined weight in stones.
However it's all we have so wish us luck!
The five of us are going to attempt the three peaks in 24hrs...ish on Friday 12th Sept. To many this would be a great challenge and they would hope for some luck along the way, but for us we are looking for a miracle. Dodgy joints, operations, old age and general lethargy over recent years means that this is going to really hurt. However, you could not hope to find 5 more determined, pig-headed and stubborn people in the whole of the UK so be assured that it will either take broken limbs, monsoons, gales or snowstorms to stop us - nothing like tempting fate!
The challenge is in aid of HISTIOCYTOSIS RESEARCH TRUST (HRT), a small charity that looks into research and provides support for families who are affected by Langerhan's Cell Histiocytosis (LCH). As most of you know Millie was diagnosed with this rare condition 18 months ago and we turned to this charity at a very traumatic time in our lives. We were given fantastic support and advice and want to give something back.
LCH is a very rare condition and the research into it's causes and cures are not supported by any Government funds, it is therefroe often referred to as an orphan disease.
To-date we are thankful that Millie is one of the lucky ones and she is in remission. However, there are many others who are not as fortunate and we want to raise some money to help this charity help them - so please give generously!
