Thank you for donating money to the Greenfingers Charity. It is a lovely charity whose cause would have been very close to Paul's heart.
Greenfingers creates magical gardens for children’s hospices. Children with life-limiting conditions, and their families and carers, all need the therapeutic benefits that a garden can bring. A Greenfingers’ garden can be a place to play, or a place to rest; it can be a place to be together, or a place for quiet contemplation; it can be a place for laughter or a place for reflection.
As you know Paul was a keen gardener and we thought that one of the first things he would have done when his grandchildren came to visit was to show them around his beautiful garden. As this opportunity was taken away from him we felt that a donation towards a charity which allows children to explore the delights of nature was extremely appropriate.
