My story

 

I'm off to Peru in August and I'll be hiking the Inca Trail. Those who know me well will laugh at the concept of this as I'm not at all fit. So this is my motivation, I'm doing it for the benefit of others.

The challenges:

25 miles over 3 days at 13,000 feet. And no taxis.
I'm unfit. I mean, really unfit.
I tried walking up the Malvern Hills and lasted 20 minutes.
I can jog for 5 minutes before having to stop.
I'm going by myself so won't have a friend to push me.
I'll be stopping every 5 yards to take a photo!

So please help out me and others by donating even just a little bit.

As a bonus, my company npower will match donations up to a total of £1,000 so let's hit this target!

By the way, the entire trip is being funded by myself and none of your donations will go to me, it will all go to charity.

Remember that UK taxpayers can do the Gift Aid thing so that Macmillan gets the tax back from your donation - much better than spending it on MP's gardening. ;)
