3 Peaks challenge for Radio Broadland Kids · 5 January 2009

‘Have a Heart’ is the new name for Radio Broadland Kids. Only the name has changed, the charity will continue to fundraise and award grants to make life better for children and young people in Norfolk and north Suffolk. In the future we may also support local groups and charities that help other areas of Education and Community support, Health and Environment although the majority of our work will always focus on local children. ‘Have a Heart ‘ takes its patrons, Myleene Klass, Craig Fleming and Richard Hughes into the new remit and also will continue to work with our local Grants Advisory Board to ensure monies raised locally are spent locally.

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

Over 24 hours on Wednesday 22nd July & Thursday 23rd July 2009 I will be joining 9 others to attempt the National 3 Peaks Challenge.  This involves climbing the three highest mountains in Britain...Snowdon in Wales, Scafell Pike in England and finally Ben Nevis in Scotland.  Though I love hill-walking and I'm looking forward to achieving the 3 peaks; the real challenge for me is to raise money for Radio Broadland Kids and help disadvantaged youngsters in Norfolk and North Suffolk.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Global Charities - radio broadland kids gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!
