Thank you for visiting my page! On 15th June 2009, 20 walkers will begin the safeHands Pilgrims Walk for Life - 130km in northern Spain over 6 days to Santiago de Compostela. Many of you know about the outstanding work of safeHands; reducing maternal and infant mortality through training - where it is simple but effective in developing countries.

Robert Naylor and I will be providing transport, supplies and support for everyone on the team, by driving the 2 vans for the group.

The money we raise will be used to support our projects and purchase solar powered, portable DVDs to deliver training in remote areas where we will create those much needed 'safe hands'. 1,600 women die everyday during pregnancy and childbirth - the equivalent of a Titanic full of pregnant women sinking.
