Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. My aim is to raise a minimum of £1,000 for YoungMinds, a charity that helps young people troubled by psychological problems.
I work in the Mental Health Service myself as a General Adult Psychiatrist based in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, and have first-hand experience of people with severe and enduring mental health problems.
My personal mantra is to keep fit and have a healthy body and mind. I love running and cycling: therefore this bike-ride fundraising event is right 'up my street', which relates to the translation of my name: Oppedijk = Updike.
