13 miles to run,all monies raised will go to Action Heart.

This organisation has a brilliant cardiac rehab unit which is helping loved ones to recover from heart surgery, getting them back to the fitness level they had before the trauma. Action Heart provides practical advice classes and fitness sessions to everyone in the area who undergoes heart surgery or is recovering from a cardiac condition. This rehab programme also helps patients and their families to re-gain confidence and to fully understand what has happened to their loved ones. This service is not provided by the NHS and there are many volunteers who help to run the fitness centre and advice classes.
