Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

Sadly on the 31st May 2008 my Nan passed away from cancer at the age of 85.  During her last few weeks, the Sam Beare Hospice in Weybridge took amazing care of her, monitoring her 24/7 and making her last few days as comfortable as possible.

I'd like to repay their efforts by making myself as "uncomfortable" as possible by completing my first triathlon!!!

Running (I've run two 10K races in over an hour!), cycling (I've only just bought a bike!) and swimming (I can only do basic breaststroke!) are certainly not my strengths!  I have 3 gruelling months ahead of me as I'm entering the Thames Turbo on the 25th August 2008.

Please, please help me to say thank you to the wonderful people who helped my Nan by donating anything you can spare.  Donating through this website is not only quick, easy and totally secure, but if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation!

Thank you for your support.

Paul.
