The Leeds 10k: Jane Tomlinson's Run For All is a 10k road race around the lovely city of Leeds that was first held in 2007. I ran it last year for the first time, and I'm giving it another go this year.

It'll be my first 10k race in seven months. I've managed to let things slip since December, and I'm starting training again after a long gap. For this race I'm aiming for only my third 10k under an hour. It'll be hard work but it'll be worth it!

I'm not running just to get fit - I'm running to raise funds for Jane's Appeal which raises funds for children's and cancer charities. In 2007 8,000 runners raised over £500,000 for charities and good causes, and I'd like us to do our bit to raise even more this year.
