I study Marine Engineering at the University of Greenwich’s Medway campus. I will be running the Asics British 10k London Run this year in aid of the university’s Alumni Fund.

I have chosen to support this cause to help the students who need it. The Alumni Fund gives students great learning opportunities that they may not have normally been given in the past, and provides specialist equipment to those that need it the most. It gives support to those with a disability or dyslexia, helps those in extreme financial emergencies and provides excellent books and resources to the library.

I’m really looking forward to the atmosphere on the day; going through London with the crowd cheering and all the other competitors!
