<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; color: black; font-size: 10pt;">In March 2011 I decided to set myself the challenge of a lifetime; I committed to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in January 2012. </span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; color: black; font-size: 10pt;">This challenge is more than the 7 days on the mountain for me. I will be spending the next 7 months of my life attempting to get fit, building up stamina and raising money for a very worthy cause indeed. For those of you that know me, you will understand what really makes this a challenge for me and for those that do not know me, I am registered blind which adds an additional level of complexity whilst attempting to summit the world's tallest stand alone mountain!</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; color: black; font-size: 10pt;">Mount Kilimanjaro stands some 5985 meters above sea level, that's around 19,000Ft or 3.5 miles!</span></p>
