My story

 

Yes, I really have run the Chicago Marathon !!!!!!!!!!

You are all probably laughing, but it was for a GREAT CAUSE, that is very close to my heart and lugging this lardy frame around the streets of Chicago was very entertaining indeed, if not very painful at times!!!

I would appreciate it, if you could sponsor me for my herculean efforts. I funded the trip myself and want to raise as much money as possible.

A special thanks to Phil McKean and Dave Kingsman who kindly donated £500 for me doing the race in a Spurs shirt. The things you have to do for a good cause!!! And also to John Evans who kindly donated £500 as well.

Well i completed the race in 5hrs 15mins and 31secs amd finished 27657 out of 33608 finishers!!!

Everything was going well for 19 miles and then the wheels came off in grand style!!!

Suffering right now, highly emotional but glad i managed to do it!!!
