The NSPCC's purpose is to end cruelty to children and our vision is of a Society where all children are loved, valued and able to fulfil their potential. In September 2008, the NSPCC launched its Child’s Voice Appeal to answer more children’s cries for help. Every day, thousands of children and young people need to talk to ChildLine about a problem they face, while hundreds of caring adults call the NSPCC Helpline, worried about a child’s safety.

My story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

I lost over 3 stone with Slimming World and am giving something back to say thank you by running the 2009 London Marathon in April for Slimming World's SMILES charity which this year is again giving to the NSPCC

I'm only running the Marathon once so rest assured that you won't have to sponsor me twice! - I'm aiming to get round in under 5 hours which I'll be perfectly happy with (finishing it will do, really but at the age of 41 getting round in five hours is okay!!!)

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: NSPCC gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
