Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

The Nijmegen 4 Day Marches will take place from 19-22 July 2011 and my company, FTX Logistics, will be entering a 12 man team who will hope to walk 50 km a day, totalling 200 km over the four days. Each team member has to raise a minimum of £250 to qualify, giving our overall target of £3000.

Our chosen charity is the ABF The Soldiers Charity, a worthwhile charity that provides financial support to serving and ex-members of the British Army. It has been providing support to soldiers, former soldiers and their families for over 65 years and they currently support over 4,000 people a year.

I appreciate that during the current finacial climate, and the many charities searching for funds, many people have their own charities to support. However, as an ex-soldier this charity is one very close to my heart and without continuing support many soldiers and their families would struggle to cope when things go horribly wrong.

So please dig deep!!!
