Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please  sponsor me online.

I have been disabled for over 7 years as result of a spinal cord injury leaving me with “Cauda Equina Syndrome”. This is a rare condition that affects the nerve endings at the bottom of the spinal column which has had severe consequences to my mobility causing permanent pain, weakness, loss of sensation and paralysis spreading down both of my legs.

I have successfuly completed the British Disabled Triathlon Championships in 2 hours and 2 mins at Rotherham. I did the 750m swim in a lake in 26 mins, the 20K cycle took 49mins and then a 5K run(walk for me) took 47 mins. I came 2nd in the tri 6 catagory winning the silver medal. My next  sporting event is on the 13th July in Eton competing in the Steelman triathlon. This distance is 800m swim, 30KM cycle and run is 7.5KM.

I am still looking for donations to meet my target.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Spinal Injuries Association will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me

Many thanks for your support.
