I've entered the 2011 Tough Guy Challenge which consists of a 6 mile cross country run followed by various obstacles with highlights such as electrified hanging wires, running through fire, underwater tunnels, barbed wire, rope swings, high jumps all of which is under heavy machine gun fire!

2 people have died previously, a third regularly fail to complete the course and around a 10th of the field get hypothermia annually!

I'd be a liar if I said I wasn't genunely scared but I figured if I didn't have something to aim for, I'd never get myself back in shape! But more importantly I thought I would appeal to you to donate to Parkinsons UK as my nan died from this earlier in the year.
