To all my friends
I am very sorry to inform you that I will not be running the above duathlon due to illness. As most of you know I've had a swine flu and it looks like I can't get rid of it. On antibiotics now hence not able to run.
Thank you very much for your support and hope that you will support my next race. (I will make it one day)
Thanks
Pav
Hi Everyone
After finishing the Cambridge to London cycle for CARA charity and now the London to Brighton cycle for BHF I am ready to take part in my first duathlon (sorry but can’t do triathlon as my swimming is letting me down at the moment). This is my biggest challenge so far and I will do my best to win (lol). Have to say that my mum is not very pleased as she thinks that I've really lost it in my old age. (Not sure what she is talking about as I am only 24).
To prove her wrong I will try to run 10 km, cycle 20 km and then run another 5 km in Richmond Park, on the 13 September 2009. I would like you to come and support me on the day (maybe bring a picnic and a bottle or two of champagne - for me of course) but most of all I would be very grateful if you could help me to raise a lots of money for the Chelsea and Westminster Health Charity.
I know that everyone is having money problem at the moment but if I promise to make it to the finishing line on the same day that you wouldn't have to camp, maybe you would donate a bit more money to the charity.
I look forward to seeing you there but if you can’t make it just send me your money.
Thank you
