Anthony Nolan saves the lives of people with blood cancer. Founded in 1974, by growing our register of stem cell donors, conducting research and supporting patients, Anthony Nolan cures blood cancer and blood disorders. But we need to do more. Without you, there is no cure.

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page!

Completed the run!!!!
..and survived to tell the tale
Hot hot day, sun in eyes, started like sardines and got tired quickyl with all the dodging about to avoid heels etc...who invited all those people anyway..;)
race time 1.52 (alot slower than hoped) around position 5000/50,000.
At least I survived huh? Who are Anthony Nolan Trust? "The Anthony Nolan Trust takes back lives from leukaemia by managing and recruiting new donors to the UK's most successful bone marrow register as well as undertaking vital research leading to improvements in the effectiveness and safety of bone marrow transplants." Why Anthony Nolan Trust? Sarah, my niece, died of leukaemia aged 7. Whilst efforts to find a match were sadly unsuccessful, the hope given her family were considerable. Raising money for the Trust will hopefully allow more children and adults with leukaemia to be given effective and successful bone marrow transplants. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Anthony Nolan Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. So please sponsor me now! Many thanks for your support. Paul
