Bupa Great South Run 2009 · 25 October 2009 ·

DEBRA is the national charity that supports individuals and families affected by Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) – a painful genetic skin blistering condition which, in the worst cases, can be fatal. We fund pioneering research and provide care and support to individuals and families living with EB.

Story

This started off as a page for the Great South Run, but it's now going to be a site for my ad hoc donations and fundraising activities which seem to happen without notice or prompting - restoring faith in human nature somewhat.

Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) is a very rare genetic condition in which the skin and internal body linings blister at the slightest knock or rub, causing painful, open wounds. Both Grace and Freddie have suffered from this condition since birth and it really is a horrible thing to have to live with. The money raised will aid the treatment of and research into EB. In time, who knows! But we hope that this money will afford Grace and Freddie an easier life, eventually.

Thanks for everything.
