The Bone Cancer Research Trust is the leading charity dedicated to fighting primary bone cancer. Our mission is to save lives and improve outcomes for people affected by primary bone cancer through research, information, awareness and support.

Story

Hello All,

Zannah and I are undertaking two events this year on behalf of the Bone Cancer Research Trust.
The first was the Three Peaks Challenge.

The two of us, with James Strang and Edd Clifford, set off from London at dawn on the 18th of July

We drove to Fort William and climbed Ben Nevis in freezing rain and fog. Next stop was the Lake District where we set off up Scafell Pike at dawn, again in terrible weather but still in high spirits. We finally got back in the car and made our way to Snowdon. Parking problems delayed our start off up the mountain, but we made up for it by running all the way down! A seriously good experience, tough, but great fun and all in 22 hours and 48 minutes.

In early October, Zannah and I are taking part in the Royal Parks half marathon in London. This is 13.5 miles through St James', Regent's, Hyde and Green Parks.

We did the Reading half marathon together in January and will be looking to beat our times there!

Please donate a few pounds to help us on our way - it'll be a welcome incentive when we're halfway up a mountain or panting through the parks!

Thank you all!

George and Zannah
