United World Colleges is a global educational NGO that brings students together from all over the world, selected from within their own countries, on merit and potential regardless of their ability to pay. These students come together at one of the twelve United World Colleges to foster international understanding and peace.

My story

Our UK Pearson Scholars - alumni - have already reached a full scholarship raised so far during the 2008-09 school year. $43,000 Canadian Dollars have been raised as we approach the end of April. We will have another UK Pearson alumni gathering on 18 June. We would like to reach two scholarships by then. A full scholarship for one year is $33,000 Canadian. Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most tax-efficient way to support Pearson College for anyone with UK based income. Funds go to The United World Colleges (International) office in London, which then sends the funds to Pearson College. If you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
