PROPS Cycle Challenge 2010 · 27 May 2010 to 1 June 2010 ·

PROPS provide much needed support and opportunities for young disabled people. They achieve this by using a number of different strategies including community involvement and partnerships. Thanks for helping.

Story

Reevesy and Slick have put their feuding behind them to unite for a truly great cause. We are joining together to try and help the bordeaux squad raise enough funds for PROPS to establish their own centre delivering inclusive projects for those with special needs.

Please visit www.propsforward.org for details of our cause.

However, Friends will be aware that our bitter rivalry in the saddle is fierce and cyclings Hale and Pace will be racing each other between stations to get to Bordeaux first... Please get behind us and pledge for Slick or Revs!

Heres the challenge:

It's Bordeaux again!! This years cycle proved such a hit we are doing it again. Only with less hills of course, better views and more stops at Calvados and Cider farms

When:

Thursday 27th May 2010 - Tuesday 1st June 2010

Day 1: Bristol to Portsmouth

Day 2: Saint Marlo to Saint Nazaire

Day 3: Saint Nazaire to La Rochelle

Day 4: La Rochelle to Bordeaux

How:

Fuelled by millions of bananas, bottles of lucozade and the odd yard of ale we will power our way 80-90-100-110 miles a day along a very cleverly devised route all the way to Bordeuax. All the way to Bordeaux I say! Do you know how far that is? We will be going all that way on just our bicycles. All the way to Bordeaux.

Why:

In support of young people with special needs. All monies raised will go towards PROPS run projects aimed at forging vocational and leisure relationships for the youngsters. More details here:http://www.propsforward.co.uk/
