In March 2010 Paddy Brick was diagnosed with cancer. After initially fighting off the disease, it sadly became terminal. Paddy sadly passed away on the 4th September 2010. Paddy was looked upon by all who know her as the most warm-hearted, fun loving and outgoing woman who could never do too much for anyone. Paddy has touched the lives and hearts of everyone who knows her and as a tribute to her strength and determination we have decided to cycle from John O’Groats to Lands End. We hope to begin the ride in June 2011, aiming to complete it in just 10 days!
We are a group family and friends of Paddy’s, who wanted to create something positive out of something so devastating. We aim to raise money for a variety of charities of Paddy’s choice in order to help with the care of those with terminal cancer and their families and to help with the search for a cure.
