We did it!

The dragon has been slain, and in some style too. We finished in 4:19 and 4:29 and, even more importantly, had an absolutely brilliant time doing it. Yes, that final stretch down the Embankment was painful, but by then we knew we would make it and we battled right through. It was awesome.

We're also delighted with all the money we've been able to raise for Downsed. To all our friends and colleagues who sponsored us a big, big thank you - you've been extremely generous, and your support meant a a great deal. That such a large sum is now in the pot is a fabulous result.

And: there is still time to top up our fund, so if you wish to make a donation, please don't be shy!

Meanwhile we're still buzzing with excitement. No prizes for guessing what we're doing now: hatching a plan for 2010!

Thank you again, and best wishes,

Philip and Paul
