After all the fun and excitement of last years Driving Blind event we have decided to enter again this year to represent PEM and also, obviously, help raise money for Cam Sight.

The event basically involves teams of two people negotiating a course of cones laid out on Bassingbourn airfield, One person drives (blindfolded)  whilst the other navigates (not blindfolded hopefully) and the times are added up for each round to determine an overall winner. Then there is a knockout parallel slalom competition with the teams going head to head to see who is fastest and ultimately bravest!

Last year one of the PEM teams were in the slalom final but were unfortunately pipped to the post, this year we are hoping to one better and maybe win a little bit of silverware.

All donations are very gratefully received and anyone wishing to come along to support us then please feel free to email us in the office and we'll give you all the necessary details, but hopefully we'll have a quick round up of the action on the eboard after the event.
