Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.I am delighted and somewhat daunted to have been given the opportunity to run the London Marathon. It is something that I have always wanted to do, and know that I will be proud of myself for the rest of my life when I have completed the race.

The Marathon is now just  a matter of days away. After the 16 mile race earlier this month, 26 miles seems a very long distance indeed but the support and encouragement from friends, family, work colleagues and church members will spur me on to finish, plus jelly babies and neurofen of course!

Knowing that I can raise funds for a really good cause is a great incentive and will keep me going on those long, long runs so please sponsor me now.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Action in Africa gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
