Story
Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.
Our task is to trek in a 7 mile loop to the summit and back. Pen y Fan is the highest peak in South Wales, situated in the Brecon Beacons National Park. At 886 meters (2,907 ft) above sea-level, it is also the highest peak in Britain south of the Snowdonia mountain range. The range is used by highly trained special forces troops as part of a special forces selection training area.
Our team of 10 ordinary men and women from around the UK are attempting to hike to the summit and back in record time to raise awareness of the NSPCC.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: NSPCC gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor us now!

I'm very happy to announce that we've met our goal, and still with a month to go I've raised the total to £300, with added gift aid this should be more than within our power to reach. Thank you very much to everyone who has donated thus far, it is much appreciated!

Once again I'm overjoyed to have had to work the intricacies of the justgiving site to raise the total once more to £400! More amazing still, within one month of having to update the total previously! Many thanks to all those who have donated thus far, its for a very good cause and every penny is highly appreciated. With the hike just days away this is very encouraging and will make it all the sweeter!
